Discovery Zone!

Children aged 4-12 are invited to join us for a Discovery Zone virtual workshop provided by Scientists in School. This workshop will be an action-packed adventure through the discovery zone. You’ll have the opportunity to explore colour chromatography, investigate why trees are so important, and create an elastic-powered car. Every great scientist started out as a curious kid!
We will offer this Virtual Workshop in person at the library and also allow registrants to participate from home.
Sticky Science

Children aged 4-12 are invited to join us for the Sticky Science virtual workshop provided by Scientists in School. In this workshop, we will explore the science of stickiness! Participants will have the opportunity to make their own glue from food products and test it to see how well it holds. Additionally, they will get to create their own sticky art. And, of course, there will be sticky putty!
